Upside of Envy
Upside of Envy was formed in 2005 by singer Melissa Montgomery and singer/guitarist Nathan Meckel. At the time, both artists had been pursuing respectable solo careers. Shortly after meeting and writing a few songs together, the two quickly decided to combine their talents and fan bases to start Upside of Envy. With the addition of Travis Vignon (drums) and Rick tuason (bass) the line up was ready to rock.

Since then the band has received radio airplay for several songs including "Mood Ring" and Cinderella". Performing Rights Organization ASCAP has also taken notice. In addition to the ground swell of radio play, the band has been gaining exposure competing in a global battle of the bands competition called, Emergenza.

Fueled by an immense drive, it hasn't take long for the blossoming rock scene in Nashville to embrace them. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears open for them.
