Ryan Case and Ed Puckett have been making great music for nearly a decade. Drifting between punk rock, folk and bluesgrass, the two began a search to find a style that fit. The original idea for The Victrolas first took shape in Athens, GA. where Ryan and Ed were living. Music City is where they landed at the end of '04, and quickly began making a name for themselves. Josh Case, Ryan's brother, had been living in Nashville writing songs. While his writing skills developed, he missed the energy and instant crowd response from playing live. He, Ryan, and Ed all began writing together and before long Josh had picked up his old bass and was practicing his chops. Soon after, Brandon Nice joined the group to play drums. Originally from Australia, Brandon was looking for a way to get back to playing live. The four eventually met and have been jamming ever since.
