Ravello
Ravello - A small town located off the Amalfi coast in Italy... Also an incredible indie rock band from Nashville TN.
Ravello is Justin and Taylor DeRosa, Nathan Spicer, and Taylor Craft.
The combination of soaring vocals and near perfect guitar melodies pol vault this group immediately to my favorites playlist. The release of their new Asperatus EP has proven that this relatively new group is ready for the "not so forgiving" Nashville music scene. It's hard not to like songs that make you feel like you are listening to some ethereal combination of Copeland and Augustana.
You are doing yourself 16 whole minutes of a favor by listening all the way through the Asperatus EP. I know it is easy to overlook gems in a city full of talented musicians but I assure you this band is well worth the time.
