I recently had the great pleasure of seeing Nashville artist Alva Leigh at 3rd and Lindsley. While quite impressive on the keys, the power in Alva's music stems from her pure and timeless voice. Alva Leigh has the ability to sing beautifully written, deep, meaningful songs while exuding personal charisma on stage. With her jazzy undertones, Alva leaves everyone in the audience imagining themselves in a smokey lounge, in lost era of music.

Alva has recently completed an incredible self-titled album including ten original tracks. The album spans the spectrum from catchy pops songs like "The Road" and "Hurricane" to ballads like "Ordinary Day" and is complete with the entrancing melodies of "Moment" and "Scoundrel". It's insightful lyrics and amazing vocals make it the perfect companion whether you're driving across town or across the country.

The album is available on iTunes or you can pick it up at one of Alva's upcoming shows.

Alva's official CD release party is March 10 at Exit/In featuring Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes.

The show is only $5 or $10 including her new album.

Believe me, this is one you're not going to wanna miss!
