Justin Branam
I was introduced to Justin Branam awhile back by fellow MCU artist and rebel rouser, Tim Schurrer, and it's about time we welcome Justin to the family.

I'm sitting here on a rainy Saturday listening to the sweet shuffle of "I Need You Now (More Than I Ever Have)" remembering the first time I heard it on Lightning 100's "Local Lightning Spotlight" last summer. This song is shear beauty and a perfect introduction to Justin and his music -- folksy, acoustic, romantic, rainy day music that makes you wanna hit "play" over and over again just not to lose the mellow mood it puts you in.

OK, so I've done that three times with "I Need You Now (More Than I Ever Have)", so it's time to stop playing favorites. Now the strings, the sway and the longing lyrics of "Come Home" fill the cracks in the walls of my living room.

"All this time you've been looking for something new
I've been reaching out for you
If you'd just let me I'd show you my love
It's like nothing you know
I promise you so."

I can listen to that over and over again. And of course I did!

The mood on "Introducing Justin Branam" is expertly crafted by Producer Mike Odmark, whose uses cello, violin, B-3, trumpet, Glockenspiel, Melodica and other assorted sounds that take the music to another level. Just give "Sleepwalker's Lullaby" a spin, and you'll know what I'm talking about. And listen for MCU artists Daniel Ellsworth on the piano, Rhodes & B-3 and Aron Wright on trumpet.

I am constantly looking for something new to listen to, and I am so glad Justin Branam and his incredible music have been there reaching out to me. Give "Introducing Justin Branam" a spin and you too will find yourself hitting "play" over and over again just not to lose the mellow mood it puts you in.

Welcome to The Music City Unsigned family Justin!
