Jessica Campbell
And another new artist hits the Nashville stage -- Jessica Campbell! For the past several years, Jessica has been writing and singing with various Nashville based artists, and recently decided it was time to create a name for herself in the singer/songwriter world.

In March 2009, Jessica teamed up with producer Cason Cooley (Matthew Perryman Jones, Matt Kearney), a name known to many in the Nashville area and a well-rounded musician. Together, they released "Put The Stars Back," her first solo EP, available on iTunes. "Put the Stars Back" featured some of Nashville's brightest musicians including drummer Will Sayles (Matt Kearney, Sixpence None the Richer), electric guitarist Paul Moak (Matt Kearney, Hillary Duff), guitarist Steve Mason (Jars of Clay), along with Cason Cooley doubling as keyboardist. The project includes "Stealing the Stars," a lovely song that easily steals your heart! Her creative blend of pop and folk/rock undertones combined with memorable melodies make Jessica truly one of a kind. Although she previously spent her time writing for others, the songs she creates for herself truly embody who she is as an artist and push her forward towards a hopeful future.

Currently, Jessica is working on a full length album, aimed to release early in 2011. If her newest single, "Falling Falling" is a preview of whats to come, then she's definitely headed in the right direction! Leaning more towards a folk and bluesy pop style, the new single is absolutely addictive; the kind of song you keep on repeat! The simple truth of the lyrics, "I just want to keep falling in love," not only reaches all who listen, but gets stuck in your head almost immediately. But no worries; this is the kind of music you should want to get stuck in your head, so take a listen and keep an eye out for the full album release soon to come!

Cheers,
Amanda Q
