Humming House
Justin Wade Tam is a roots songwriter from the new band Humming House. Accompanied by a revolving cast of cohorts, Humming House flaunts folk guitar melodies, ukulele bluegrass, blues choruses and harmonious gospel breakdowns. The unmistakable pop sensibilities mixed with a depth of lyrical narrative give the whimsical songs an irresistible quality that can only be described by the imagery of the name - Humming House.

No newcomer to the world of independent music, Tam spent the past three years crisscrossing the globe with the combination folk-duo and traveling art/literature collaborative: "Quote." In 2008 the band released a 130-page paperback book containing interpretive art and literature entitled The Pace Of Our Feet. "Quote" followed with an EP, A Deeper Green, in March 2010, and were featured on NPR and in Performing Songwriter magazine.

In March 2011, Tam recorded the debut Humming House record with Grammy Award winning producers Mitch Dane and Vance Powell (The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, Buddy Guy, Chris Thile, Martina McBride, Jars Of Clay). With such acclaimed producers behind the music, Tam's new project is coming to life. Humming House is set to release a swingy ukulele single, "Gypsy Django", that brings the free-spirited sounds and jovial emotions of the roaring 20s into the world on April 19th, 2011.
