Dave Isaacs
Over the past twenty years Dave Isaacs has earned himself a reputation as a world-class musician, a talented composer and songwriter, and an inventive and engaging teacher. He has released five albums of his own music and logged countless road miles, performing in venues large and small across the eastern U.S. Isaacs first made his mark nationally as the frontman and driving force of NYC-based country-rock band Jackalope Junction, but has developed a soulful jazz-inflected roots-rock sound over his subsequent solo releases. Dave performs across the greater mid-South region both as a soloist and fronting his electric trio. As a workshop leader and performance coach, Dave has given guitar workshops for the Nashville Songwriters Association in New York and Nashville, and teaches guitar, piano, and voice out of his private studio and on the faculty of the music education program at World Music Nashville.
