Howdy Music Fans,

We've been fervently working behind-the-scenes with our design and tech buddies, Paul and Jason, from Otterball to bring you Music City Unsigned 2.0. Over 100,000 people have watched our initial 8 episodes, and now we're back with a bigger, stronger, faster $6 million site (HA NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH). OK, it wasn't that much, but it sure looks like it!

Here's what we're introducing to the people this week:

- ARTISTS: Each artist will now have their own page and URL. Cool, huh?

- NEWS: No Britney gossip here, just a pick-up truck load of local independent music news focused on MCU artists, the independent music scene in Nashville and the latest happenings from our now "signed" friends, Wertz and Barnes.

- BLOG: You're reading it. Going forward we will have lots of "Guest Appearances" from MCU artists and other highly influential people. You'll just have to stay tuned...

- CALENDAR: The best independent shows across town, including an amazing one this Friday. Check "News" for details.

- JUKEBOX: Great songs from great artists streaming on your PC...or MAC...or iPhone...or Web TV, does that still exist?

So there ya have it. Surf, listen and enjoy...and THANKS TO THE FOLKS AT ALLSTATE for their generous support of our efforts to support the independent music community in Nashville...who could all use our support.
