Here at Music City Unsigned, we all love Sandra McCracken and Thad Cockrell. They are two Nashville based artists that consistently bring passion to the stage, and devote their lives to music. Last night, we were again blessed to see them do what they do best.

Sandra took the stage at 8pm with Derek Webb to a very welcoming audience. The harmonies the two of them put together, their interchanging guitar riffs, and the chemistry they bring to the stage is unmatchable. When listening to Sandra's gentle voice and soaring lines, I can't help but sit back, close my eyes, and smile.

Thad joined Sandra on stage for her final song, "In Feast or Fallow," which is the title track of her newest album. This was the second time I had seen Sandra, Thad, and Derek on stage together performing this song, and let me tell you, it's an experience! The three of them bring a peace to the room that is impossible to recreate with any other trio of musicians.

When Thad took the stage at 9pm with full band, he kicked it up a notch and got the hearts of everyone in the room beating a little faster. With keys, two electric guitars, drums, bass, and even some classic harmonica, Thad puts on an incredible show and brings intensity to the stage. Time and time again, he brings a great crowd, sings his heart out, and keeps us coming back for more. Titles from his newest album, "To Be Loved," such as "Beauty Has A Name" and "Rosalyn" represent all that Thad has to offer--and that's love and passion for his music.

If you haven't had a chance to see these two perform together, I suggest you stalk them until they put on a show again! Individually, they are incredible artists. Sandra connects words with melodies with a skill that no other artist has seemed to master quite so well. Thad's love for music is so evident that you can feel him singing straight to your heart, weakening every bone in your body. Together, these two bring all that is passion, all that is love, and all that is passion and love for music.
