Songwriter Ben Cooper formed a band in late 2003 after starting college at Belmont University. Calling themself simply COOPER, they began playing all over town and a year later they released their self-titled EP. After writing many new songs, Cooper released his third EP "She is Only Sleeping" early in 2007. Recently, Cooper was honored as one of the winners of the Positive Pop Song Contest, and will receive free digital distribution through CD Baby. Full of energy and intelligent songwriting, Ben's piano pop-rock sound ignites some incredibly catchy tunes. With songs that revolve around deeper messages such as faith, life and love, Cooper has something very rare in the works.
